Therapy is about taking a journey to one's internal world. It may be a short-trip to solve an immediate crisis and other times, it may require a longer journey to find self-acceptance and forgiveness. I view my roll as a therapist to be a companion while providing guidance, a safe, trusting and compassionate environment. You can expect to explore and mindfully experience variety of emotions that may be repressed, evaluate past and/or present relationships such as family, friends and significant others that may have negatively influenced one's unhealthy and irrational view of themselves and/or others. We will be setting treatment goals collaboratively to address one's unique experiences and concerns. However, psychotherapy requires a very active effort on your part. In order to be most successful, you will have to work on things we discuss outside of sessions.
